Off The Road

Mountain Views & Endless Expeditions

OTR2

“Our battered suitcases were piled on the sidewalk again; we had longer ways to go. But no matter, the road is life.” – Jack Kerouac

Diving into the unknown is a powerful idea that can either propel you to do something, or deter you from doing it. The tales of those who have chosen the road less traveled, such as Jack Kerouac, Christopher McCandless (aka Alexander Supertramp), or Cheryl Strayed, have hypnotized thousands of people because of their insight into a daring life that could be – the life off the road. There’s something magical about envisioning oneself as a nomad whose only home is their car and the open road, with infinite possibilities to encounter new people, new experiences, and new wonders of nature with every mile traveled. Off the Road, published by Gestalten, is a beautiful portrayal of the people who have left a traditional metropolitan existence in the dust, replacing their day-to-day with mountain views and endless expeditions.
